Arrival in Warsaw, transfer to hotel. Dinner and
overnight. -
2Day
After breakfast sightseeing of Warsaw - Poland's
capital since 1596, the residence of Polish monarchs, is embellished
by many magnificent palaces built by kings and
magnates.
Visit to the Royal Castle - a monument to the national culture
dating back to the XIII c. A walk along the historic
streets and the Market Square of the Old Town. Next we
will follow the Royal Route lined with numerous magnificent
palaces, churches and monuments.
In the afternoon - visit to Wilanow, a beautiful Baroque
architectural complex, summer residence of the King Jan
III Sobieski.
Dinner and overnight. -
3Day
Full day roundtrip to Zelazowa Wola, Nieborow and
Lowicz.
Zelazowa Wola - birthplace of Frederic Chopin. Visit to the
museum devoted to the composer.
Nieborow - visit to the Baroque palace, the former residence
of the family Radziejowski.
Lowicz - a town where beatifully preserved folk tradition
creates the unforgettable atmosphere. Visit to the Ethnographic
Museum and display of paper cut-outs with patterns
typical of central Poland.
Dinner and overnight in Warsaw. -
4Day
After breakfast drive to Czestochowa. Visit to
the Monastery with Black Madonna Shrine. The Pauline
Monastery founded in 1382 is the main target of pilgrimages
in Poland.
Drive to Cracow - dinner and overnight. -
5Day
Sightseeing of Cracow - the former capital of Poland
including visit to the Wawel Royal Castle - a residence
of Polish Kings. You can admire the Parliamentary room
with sculptured heads in the wooden caissons of ceiling,
exceptionally rich set of furniture in the royal apartements,
a wonderful collection of the Flemish arras tapestries.
In the Wawel Cathedral you can see sarcophagis of Polish
Kings and tombs of people most meritorious to their
motherland - Poland.
In the afternon - visit to the salt mine in Wieliczka - 13 km
away from Cracow. The salt mine is registered in the UNESCO
World Cultural Heritage List.
Dinner and overnight. -
6Day
Drive to Zakopane. En route raft trip on the Dunajec
River. The journey on the waves of the Dunajec River
through a gorge in the Pieniny Mountains lasts ca. 2,5 hrs
and is a rare meeting with a wild and for thousands of
years unchanged nature.
In the afternoon - a short sightseeing of Zakopane - the
winter capital of Poland.
Dinner and overnight in Cracow. -
7Day
A trip to the 'Ojcowski National Park' - the Pradnik
Valley in the Ojcowski N.P. boasts an exceptional landscape,
there are outcrops of limestone, a multitude of
gorges and caves with bats. The most famous rock is the
pillar known as the 'Hercules Club'.
Visit to the 'Pieskowa Skala Castle' in the Pradnik Valley.
The castle is situated on an inaccessible rock surrounded
by spectacular scenery.
Dinner and overnight in Cracow. -
8Day
After breakfast - drive to Warsaw.
Transfer to the 'F.Chopin International Airport' in Warsaw.
